The Entsika Foundation provides regular, nutritious meals to over 117 elderly men and women and children across three community centres in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal. Our centres are more than feeding points. They are spaces where elders are honoured, children are nurtured, and no one is forgotten. Each December, the Foundation hosts a special Christmas Luncheon, a cherished celebration that reminds our community that dignity, warmth, and belonging are values the Foundation holds dear, for every generation.

Rooted in the belief that a community is only as strong as how it treats its most vulnerable, the Entsika Foundation established this programme in response to the deep need it witnessed in Mtubatuba, a region where poverty and isolation weigh heaviest on the elderly. Driven by a dedicated team of volunteers and community workers, our three centres have become pillars of care and consistency. The impact reaches far beyond the meal itself. It restores dignity, builds connection, and affirms that every life, regardless of age, holds immeasurable worth. As we grow, it is our vision to expand this programme, reaching more centres and ensuring that no elder in our communities goes to bed hungry
